The City of Riceboro reserves the right to make citizen appointments to certain committees and boards to represent our community in Liberty County and the State of Georgia government functions. The current appointments have been made to the following committees and boards.
Keep Liberty Beautiful (KLB)
Keep Liberty Beautiful is a community education and volunteer action program dedicated to community improvement. An affiliate of the national organization, Keep America Beautiful, since 1983, Keep Liberty Beautiful has a long history of working for the best quality of life for Liberty County. Liberty Gateway Design Review Board
This board Identifies appropriate locations for gateway markers and signage clearly identifying the community. Also, board members create and enforce land use and development guidelines to provide a sense of place in Liberty County.

Georgia Initiative for Community Housing (GICH) Committee
The objective of the GICH Initiative is to help communities create and launch a locally based plan to meet their housing needs.

Liberty/Long Employers Committee (LLEC)
LLEC was established for the purpose of providing ongoing communication and links between the Ga Department of Labor and employers within the area.
Hinesville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (HAMPO)

Live Oak Public Library (LOPL) Board – Liberty County
